Last year over half of all accidental fires in the home,
in England, were linked to cooking...
Your local crews are urging everyone
to think Safety First when cooking:
• Keep tea towels and cloths away
• Make sure saucepan handles are
turned inwards
• Avoid leaving children in the
kitchen alone
• If oil starts to smoke, its too hot.
Turn off heat and leave it to cool
• Double check the cooker/hob is off
when you have finished cooking
