CLEAN OVENS
Pour the batter into a jug and then fill the
doughnut tray with batter until each ring is
¾ full (without covering the middle point)
and bake in the oven for 12 minutes. You
will have enough batter for about 3 batches
of doughnuts – if you have more doughnut
trays feel free to use them!
Meanwhile, use a fork to mix together the
icing sugar and 1 tablespoon of milk to
make the glaze - it needs to be thin enough
to dip the doughnuts into but not too runny
that it all slips off – it should give a nice
thin coating (as seen in photo to the left).
Add more milk if necessary. Decorate with
sprinkles.
Dip the doughnuts into the glaze and place
on a wire rack to set.
Alternatively, coat the doughnuts in
chocolate (as seen in photo below) and be
creative!
