McCallu m’s McCallum’s is a newly opened independent lifestyle, organic and free-from shop in the High Street of Princes Risborough. The owner’s motivation has been driven by seeing his Mother overcome cancer through diet and a natural eating regime, as well as his own desire to maintain a low metabolic age (fit and healthy) and remain youthful looking. Everything in the shop is organic and free-from gluten, dairy, added sugar, vegetable oil and unfermented soy, parabens, SLSs, and preservatives. A growing selection of Organic and freefrom breads and cakes are also being provided by a chef with a certified gluten-free kitchen. Organic meat and fish products will arrive soon for Paleo (low carb) diet followers. The focus is on real nutrition, clean eating and living, supported by quality Higher Nature supplements. They sell organic groceries, natural body and household products and organic wines, beers, ciders and spirits – all at Amazon and Ocado prices. The beers are gluten free, some of the ciders are sulphite free and the wines have less than half the sulphites of commercial wine, and none of the added sugar. Alex McCallum told us “there is no need to check the product packaging for freefrom information in my shop because I’ve already done that for you”.
