This is much to the dismay of David Seed who is our local osteopath from The Newtown Clinic (see point 5 of his article on page 13). Yes, I am guilty of sitting perched on the edge of my seat, whilst working on the computer; I’m doing it now infact! Ok, I’ve moved now so that I am sitting in the correct position but it’s got me thinking, how many of you are perchers too? Our ‘5 minutes with ….’ interview this month is with local author D.S. Affleck (yes he has a brother called Ben but he isn’t the famous acting one). I was accompanied by Wooburn Green resident Cameron Gregory, who is currently studying at Southampton University. Cameron has a career in journalism planned so I thought it would be a good idea to get these two together. The resulting interview makes a good read, see for yourself on page 32. Well done Cameron and congratulations to Dominic too on his first ever interview as an Author. There are so many events featured in this magazine this month (see overleaf for the full list) I would like to encourage you to support the local community wherever possible. The range of events is so diverse there is definitely something for everyone. Whatever you do enjoy the light evenings that May brings and stay safe.
