Flackwell Heath Minors FC ‘Festival of Football’
SATURDAY JUNE 3rd and SUNDAY JUNE 4th

It’s a great village tradition and club occasion and when the sun is shining it’s a great day out
for all the family. As well as the football there’s a bar, bouncy castles, barbeque, tombola, face
painting and lots of other fun.
There’ll be over 1,600 boys and girls from 200 teams across the county, and beyond, taking part.
Flackwell Heath Minors FC was founded in 1967 and currently has over 300 registered boys
and girls from the ages of 5 up to 16.
‘It’s a great club and we’re really proud to be a part of the community” said Declan Breen,
Club Chairman. “The tournament is a major event for the club, it takes a great deal of planning
and organising, and the money we raise goes back into the club to fund equipment and
facilities.’
As well as the fantastic support we get from the families and friends of all of our players,
Juniper Hill School provide some vital parking space, Flackwell Heath Cubs & Scouts help us
set up, and allow us to use their tents, and we have numerous villagers and local businesses
supporting us in the build up to the weekend.
