As the New Year fast approaches my thoughts move towards the many tasks we need to tackle when school begins again . My trusty gang will fly into the greenhouse all bright and bubbly and full to bursting with news of the gifts good old Father C has delivered to them . Seed sowing on a day like this is fruitless in more ways than one . Concentration flies out the window along with the seeds and the compost never quite reaches the pot accurately . Therefore our first meeting when we return is always somewhat relaxed . We don ’ t achieve much horticulturally but socially we thrive !
