Although it might still be November when you
receive this copy of Hiya Bucks it is technically
the last edition for 2015. I hope you have enjoyed
reading them as much as I have enjoyed putting
them together for you.
I would like to say Thank You to everyone who has
been part of the magazines this year for sharing their
stories, events or businesses with us. Without you
it wouldn’t be possible.
Whilst I might be the only official member of staff at
Hiya Bucks headquarters I do have a team of people
whose support, dedication and enthusiasm for the
magazines knows no bounds. Julia, my Graphic
Designer, is always on hand, working 7 days a
week if need be! Lucy, my Features Writer, gives
up her spare time to bring you interesting articles
each month. Roy, my husband, deals with all the
distribution for me and, of course, the distributors
themselves, a massive thank you to them for battling
wind, rain, ice (no doubt to come) and grumpy
residents aplenty!
The feedback I receive from happy recipients of the
magazines encourages me to continue doing what I
do, during what can be stressful times when running
your own business.
Please show your support for the local clubs,
organisations, charities, groups and independent
businesses who are featured in Hiya Bucks. The
magazines are all about “bringing communities
together” whether that be school communities,
business communities, not-for-profit communities,
or the actual community, the list is endless.
Finally, welcome to the Bucks based Hearing Dogs
for Deaf People charity who have a feature in the
magazines this month. I am thrilled and very excited
to be working with them in 2016.
That just leaves me to say
I wish you all a very Merry
Christmas and whatever you are
doing this month, look out for
elderly neighbours who might
need your help, be good for
Father Christmas and stay safe!
Helen
