December 2013 Letter from the Editor I hope you all like our Christmassy December front cover. Many thanks go to all the children who entered our “Design the December Front Cover” competition and congratulations to Sebastian Bowerman on his winning entry. Well done Seb. I was very excited this month to be contacted by two local authors who want to be part of Hiya Bucks on a regular basis. Firstly we have Confessions of a Cat Sitter which I thoroughly enjoyed reading so I hope you do too. Secondly Geoffrey Gudgion tells us all about his success with Saxon’s Bane. I’m trying to persuade Geoffrey to write some short stories for us, watch this space! There are plenty of Christmas events featured for you this month and on page 42 check out the advert for the High Wycombe Swishing Event. It’s very short notice I know but it sounds like a brilliant idea and it’s for good local causes too. Wishing you the best of luck Emma with your swishing.
