Perfect sunshine, wonderful beaches and a very
warm welcome is what greets you on the beautiful
island of Cyprus which is why it is our favourite
holiday destination.
We have visited Cyprus several times and last year
opted to stay in Pernera, a small but very picturesque
harbour town on the Eastern coast.
We stayed in a hotel called Crystal Springs and
from the moment we arrived the service was fab.
Nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly
staff. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis and were
not disappointed. The meals were all self-service.
However what we loved was that all meal times were
a real relaxing pleasure. The food was delicious, there
was always plenty of choice and there was never any
queuing.
Crystal Springs itself is based on small, gorgeous
cove where we were able to swim safely out to the
rocks on the shore line and find great places to
snorkel. As Pernera is not over commercial the cove
has kept its charm and although at weekends it was
busy (a favourite for Locals) it has no water sports
and as we could walk down a few steps from our
hotel sunbeds, there was no worrying about finding
a place to sit. I should say the pool too was also very
