Transformation of Hitch Fit Superstar - Fit over 60 - Vickie Sims
We got to know Vickie Sims very well in 2015. At 60 years young, this inspiring woman
stepped on stage for her first fitness competition. A dream she held for years finally came to
fruition. Post-show, Vickie felt it was time to share the real, raw and powerful truth of her
transformation journey (which began with Hitch Fit over 2 years ago). Vickie was in a dark
place, a place where she was considering taking her own life. But she fought back. She
turned to God for strength, and was led to Hitch Fit to help her take her life back. We are so
glad that she did.
Vickie has shed 50 pounds. But her transformation is about so much more than a number
on the scale. Her willingness to share her story has changed the lives of many women. She
is a beacon of hope for women who think that there is no possibility for change and
improvement after reaching a certain age. She is a shining light, piercing through the
darkness for those who have had thoughts of ending their life.
