SOY PROTEIN:
What is it? Soy protein is a 100% plant based protein made
from soybeans.
Who is it for? Soy protein is a great choice for vegetarians or
vegans looking to get added protein in their diet.
When to use it: Soy protein can be used any time of day.
Additional plant proteins you may see are Rice, Pea and Hemp
proteins. Hemp & soy are unique in that they are complete
proteins, containing all 8 essential amino acids.
My recommendation:
To get the most for your money go with a protein powder that
is 100% whey isolate (unless you are vegan). A pharmaceutical
grade product from a reputable company is best. You will get
the high quality, rapid absorption and a product that truly does
not contain lactose and a bunch of fillers will prevent digestion
issues.
