Many of the following photographs were used for that publication to support the EFC
school surveys. The surveys included both black and white school in the school district. Those
pictures will be labeled with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH)
numbers. The pictures were used when the Lauderdale County School District requested
reorganization. These pictures were taken in about 1954. The Lauderdale County School
