Clarkdale County Vocational School – 1962
Northeast Lauderdale County Vocational School – 1961
Southeast Lauderdale County Vocational School – 1962
West Lauderdale County Vocational School – 1962
Middleton County Vocational School – 1959 (The name Middleton was changed to Northeast
Lauderdale Elementary School in the fall of 1970)

Principals for the Lauderdale County Schools for the 1962-63 session were approved as
follows:
Northeast – Tommy Gunn, Principal; John H. Johnson Jr., High School Principal and T.E.
Bruister, Elementary Principal
Northwest – Ikie Ethridge, Principal; C.B. Kinard, High School Principal and W.M. Palmer,
Elementary Principal
Southeast – James D. Stodard, Principal; H.T. Overby, High School Principal and B.L. Reese,
Elementary Principal
Clarkdale – Principals to be appointed upon approval from North Clark County School Board
and the Clark County School Board
Middleton – F.P. Posey, Principal; Smiley Bonds, High School Principal and George Mosley,
Elementary Principal (Provided he attends school this summer)
