New York-Lower east Side
"Hitting The Road"
I'm in New York city and in The Lower East Side also known as LES. This is a neighborhood in the southeastern part of the New York City borough of Manhattan. It is roughly bounded by the Bowery to the west, East Houston Street to the north, the East River to the east, Canal Street to the south. One of the oldest neighborhoods in New York city with diversity as one of its features. In the mid-2000s, this neighborhood was going through a shift compromising its essence prompting The National Trust for Historic Preservation to place the neighborhood on their list of America's Most Endangered Places. Now, LES has become a home to upscale boutiques and trendy dining establishments and a chic atmosphere. I have to say I loved it. Besides China Town is not too far so we stayed in Hotel 91 for a couple nights. It is a boutique hotel, trendy and unexpensive.
Walking around this side of town you feel chic, and ready to enjoy lunch or dinner depending on the time of the day. I was craving sushi and I decided to go to a place highly recommended by a local.

"The Queen Of Spider":Crab and Spicy tuna. and just in case we were still hungry we ordered Rainbow: a regular California. Yes!! I like spicy.... For dessert we got the ginger ice cream: really yummy and different.I was also surprise that it was inexpensive. I had a great time there with family and friends. Check it out if you are in town.
In Broome street I found Zest Sushi Restaurant. Zest is cozy, and trendy. The customer service is excellent and the food..!!! It was really good and filling. What did I eat? I always try to be bold so I tried "The Dark Angel" -Spicy shrimp with white tuna, lettuce and avocado roll.... We also ordered....
