the seas. Each word that you sing beckons
to Me!” “Where O where is My beloved
songbird? She’s putting on her best garments to welcome her King,” the angels reply.
With a swoosh and a ruffle my gown made
a sound … and then only footsteps could be
heard as I hurried back to the spot in the
center of the stage. I let down my skirt and
it made no sound, I adjusted my bodice and
then looked around. The angels had gone,
not one could be found … then seated on
the stage directly under Heaven’s light …
she noticed her King sitting with a sparkle
in His eyes.
She felt weak in the knees then looking into
His eyes she began to sing … no more was
she afraid that she’d miss a note and gone
was that lump that she had in her throat.
She kneeled down next to Him there on the
floor … this is how she sang to Him what
seemed like a million times before … Closing her eyes as her knee touched His robe
… she felt His virtue leave Him in a glorious
golden glow.
Her words became labored, her spirit
soared, she felt His arms around her and
she buried her head into His chest. Higher
and higher they soared … so high it was as
if she was a rocket climbing far above the
finite vision she had of the sky …
