When the two words are combined - Jehovah Rapha it can be translated as "Jehovah Who (rapha)" (Isaiah 53:5) (Isaiah 61:1) “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me; because the LORD hath anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to BIND UP the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. (Luke 4:18) Heals." (cf. Jeremiah 30:17; Jerem 3:22; Isaiiah ah 30:26; Isaiah 61:1; Psalm 103:3). Jehovah is the Great Physician who heals the physical and emotional needs of His people.
