unceasingly. Rapha (râpâ') means
"to restore," “to heal" or "to make
healthful" in Hebrew. When the two
words are combined - Jehovah Rapha it can be translated as "Jehovah Who
(rapha)" (Isaiah 53:5)
(Isaiah 61:1) “The Spirit of the Lord
GOD is upon Me; because the LORD
hath anointed Me to preach good tidings
unto the meek; He hath sent me to
BIND UP the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the
opening of the prison to them that are
bound. (Luke 4:18)

Jehovah is the Great Physician who
heals the physical and emotional needs
of His people.
(Isaiah 55:11-12) “So will My Word be
which goes forth from My mouth; It will
not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without
succeeding in the matter for which I sent
it. 12--For you will go out with joy And
be led forth with peace; The mountains
and the hills will break forth into shouts
of joy before you, And all the trees of the
field will clap their hands.”
"Thus says the Lord, 'I have purified
(rapha) these waters; there shall not be
from there death or unfruitfulness any
longer."
(2 Kings 2:21)
Isaiah gives a clear prophecy that by the
Messiah Jesus' "scourging we are healed
