THE GROUNDS KEEPER- INDIVIDUALS THAT HAVE BEEN PLACED AROUND
YOU TO PROTECT, FERTILIZE, AND MAINTAIN THE PRODUCTIVE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUR SEED
I would be remised if I did not include:
THE WEEDS- ENEMIES THAT COME TO CHOKE THE GROWTH OF YOUR
SEED, OFTEN TIMES LOOKING SIMILAR TO THE PLANT YOU WILL EVENTUALLY GROW TO RESEMBLE THE PESTS- THOSE THAT COME TO EAT YOUR
SEED THE MOMENT IT PRODUCES FRUIT …
Therefore we see that all these components are involved in natural growth. As it
is in the natural it is in the Spirit. I can discern that there are many weeds, and
pests that are lurking, trying to gain a hold on your seed. Therefore you must
trust the ground that God has planted you in! Know that the ground will be
tended by a grounds keeper (your Overseer, Pastor, Leader) who is wise to point
out the problematic situations that can cause stagnation to the growth of your
vision. They will pluck out weeds, spray for potential pests, and even pack fertilizer around your roots. WAIT, let us look at the definition of fertilizer.
Fertilizer- a chemical or natural substance added to soil or land to increase its
fertility. Synonyms: manure, plant food, compost, dressing, top dressing, dung.
Did you see the synonyms for fertilizer? Manure, dung, compost…not too pretty
and it does not smell great but it is necessary for GROWTH. We do not want to
touch the messy, rotten, stinky situations and often times run away from the
nasty challenges that present themselves in our ministries but IT IS NECCESSSARY for our growth! Do not run from the fertilizer. Know that in GOD’S
time, your seed will grow into the tender seedling, and then into the plant, the
bush, and the tree of righteousness that God wants to establish in the
earth. You will endure trimming and pruning- the cutting away of stray branches that grow out of place, but EVERYTHING happens in its own time and season.
Be encouraged! I am praying for you.
