The Matrix. Agent Smith was nobody, while at the same time,
somebody; he was able to infiltrate, at lightning speed, any human as his goal was to destroy Neo. Neo, was the chosen one to
obliterate the stronghold of The Matrix and weaken the grasp of
Agent Smith, but I’m getting a little ahead of myself let me back
up.
I want to explain a little more about what a matrix is. Dictionary.com
defines a matrix as “something that constitutes the place or point
from which something else originates, takes form, or develops.” Interestingly, in the field of Biology a matrix or in its plural form matrices,
the internal structure of connective tissues is an extracellular matrix
an example of this would be finger nails and toenails as they grow
from matrices. I want you to place close attention to what a matrix is
from a biological standpoint as it relates to living organisms, as this
very same word is found in the Bible.
In fact, it’s found approximately four times in the King James Version of the Old Testament: Exodus 13:12, 15, 34:19; Numbers
3:12. In Exodus 13:12 it reads “That thou shalt set apart unto
the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh
of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the LORD's.” Now in
the New International Version of the same verse it reads, “You are to
give over to the LORD the first offspring of every womb. All the
firstborn males of your livestock belong to the LORD.” Notice how the
matrix is called the womb; even the Orthodox Jewish Bible reads
“That thou shalt set apart unto Hashem all that openeth the rechem
(womb), and every firstling that is born of a behemah which thou
hast; hazecharim (the males) shall be Hashem’s.”
