In this new beginning, what if we chose to please God, seek His ways and not ours, and what if we stopped being so prideful and asked God to help us overcome ourselves and stop up our hearing and obeying the call of the enemy, the father of lies? This is a prayer that God will gladly answer… You are the righteousness of God in Christ… You’re a royal priesthood… You’re a saint… You’re the salt of the earth… You’re sanctified… You’re saved… You’re sealed… You’re seated with Him in heavenly places… You’re a servant of God… -James 4:3 “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume It upon your lusts.” You share His authority… You’re the sheep of His pasture… You’re a shining star… God gave us every weapon we’ll ever need in His Word; but we must be willing to humble ourselves. You’re a son of God… You’re a son of light… You’re a steward of the mysteries… -James 4:6 “But He giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” You are strengthened by Him… You are the elect of God… -James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” You are the friends of God... Thefullnessoflifeandgodlinessbelongtoyou… You are the righteousness of God… -James 4:8 “Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” You are the temple of God… You’re the temple of the Holy Spirit… You are transformed… It’s pretty much as simple as that, so why do we make it so complex, let us repent of us, and seek God, who is perfect in every way and every day, Amen. Let this be our new year’s resolution, this will truly bring new beginnings, and choices that won’t fail ...
