Gifts with a Time Frame

“We trust not because “a God” exists, but because this God exists.” – C. S. Lewis
Faith isn’t blind. You trust because you believe in a God who is able to keep His promises. And does. Every time.
I trust God because I’ve experienced His faithfulness and provision in tough times. Physical pain, the loss of loved ones, tragedy, and all the times that “there but for the grace of God” went I.
Layne Longfellow, a 1980's motivational speaker said, “I see the world as I have seen it.”
That means you see the world from a unique personal perspective. Your experiences define and explain what happens to and around you. No two people live in precisely the same world because they don’t share precisely the same history.
Women who marry their high-school sweethearts and build families with their soulmates see the world differently than twice-divorced single mothers.
If you came to Christ as a child your world is markedly different from a friend’s, who was born again in middle-age.
