[ COVER STORY ]
The diamond drill is complemented
by the GCR 350 Professional drill stand.
The work angle can be set using the
scale, enabling the tool to be aligned
precisely during drilling. The speed
and torque can be adapted flexibly to
the drilling application, thanks to a
three-speed gearbox.
The GDB 350 WE Professional is
designed for wet drilling in reinforced
and non-reinforced concrete and
masonry, where it performs tasks such
as breakthroughs for supply and
disposal lines, vents, or water pipes.
Both tools feature soft-start, an
electronic overload indicator, a PRCD
protective switch, and an overload
clutch to protect user and machine.
The GCR 180 Professional and GCR
350 Professional drill stands enable
professional tradespeople to set the
work angle easily before drilling, and
to align the diamond drills precisely.
Both drill stands are suitable for
vacuum and wall plug mounting, and
for drilling at an incline angle of up to
45°. They are operated using a
handwheel with three feed levers, and
can be fitted on both sides without the
need for additional tools.
The diamond drilling system is
complemented by comprehensive
system accessories. These include
mounting and vacuum sets for the drill
stands, a pressurised water container,
water collection rings with matching
seal covers to minimise dirt during
work and a spacer plate for drilling
holes of 300mm to 350mm with the
GDB 350 WE Professional.
In addition to this, Bosch’s range
also includes matching diamond core
cutters for wet and dry drilling. The
system comprises the Best for
Concrete (wet), Best for Universal (dry)
and Standard for Universal (dry)
product series. “This means that
Bosch is able to offer a total system,”
Mhodi concludes. ●
