All Rights Reserved. HHU is a U.S.A. Publication www.HipHopU.Me A magazine set’s the mark by its first issue, but it is often judged more so by its second issue. Several professionals have put out a single issue of high quality content only to either fizzle or fail to even follow up with a second issue, but when a group of media professionals can follow up with a second issue of equal or better quality content there is no question about their integrity, the preparedness, their drive, their passion, and their resolve. Its with that second issue that a staff distances themselves from the competition, or fails to show and prove. As you check out volume one, issue two of Hip Hop U Multimedia Magazine, I think you will agree that we make a strong statement with our content that we are serious and we are here to stay! We faced challenges from every direction, from staffing to production, but through it all our planning and our resolve didn’t allow us to do anything but succeed. We figured we’d treat you to real hip hop in the person of Pharoahe Monch to set it off, complete with news of his label and how that’s progressing, his thoughts on the Hip Hop Illuminati, and news of his first fully independently released and distributed album P.T.S.D. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). We continue to bring you top hip hop photographs, videos and reviews to let you know what’s new and hot on the scene that you won’t necessarily hear on mainstream radio or see on the Grammy’s. Also, of course, we continue to bring you vital information on how to succeed in the industry from an insider perspective. Thank you for allowing Hip Hop U to serve you, and be sure to tell a friend or two or twenty that there’s somewhere that real hip hop lives, and its right here at Hip Hop U. Of course we’d love to hear your feedback, so keep the emails to [email protected] and tweets coming @HipHopUMag. We appreciate you and promise to never forget that Hip Hop is you and me!
