Who Is Bobby Shmurda
Hometown: Brooklyn, New York
This 20-year-old Flatbush, Brooklyn native has skyrocketed from relative obscurity to viral superstar from what started as a joke and we all know now as the "Shmoney Dance." The dance with its rhythmatic swaying, is the stuff that Vine and hashtag dreams are made of. The video for the song "Hot N***a" has generated almost 4 million views and numerous hilarious parodies, including one set to the Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way."
This video received national exposure even attracting some celebrity buzz. Celebrities as in Meek Mill, Raekwon and Drake have all taken interest in the "Shmoney Dance" with Jay Z and Beyonce even doing the dance during their On The Run tour at the MetLife Stadium last week.
In the past week BOBBY SHMURDA has been busy even inking a deal with EPIC Records.
We'll get into the fast rise of Brooklyn's own whom didnt even have asperations of being a rapper.
