Have you ever been wanting to learn what else is out there, in our fabulously diverse world? Throughout this issue of our magazine, Hinduism will be the star of the show, and will display and discuss the many elements and uniquities that make Hinduism stand out from the rest of our world’s many religions.
Hinduism is the oldest and arguably the most confusing religion in the world. It has many possibly unusual and even outright weird practices that may be just too strange for some readers to bear. Arguably Hinduism is considered to be one of India’s most exotic pieces of history and Hindu sites are progressively becoming popular tourist attractions because of their peculiar beliefs and practices. Existing for almost 10,000 years Hinduism is practiced today by 13.8% of the world’s population. These 900,000,000 people support many beliefs such as the Sati, the caste system, and worship of monkeys. Yes monkeys, Will Zondlak will talk about that later, along with practices of suicide, and the stories of Krishna.
Even though Hinduism has pretty much no history behind it aside from its mere existence we do happen to know some things about its origins. One really cool coincidence in history is that the Hindus had there own version of Jesus named Krishna! Yep, everything that was recorded about Jesus and Krishna is almost identical! So identical in fact that historians actually believed that Christianity copied Hinduism. Which of course doesn’t make any sense, or does it?
