dream and opposition arose in the form of his
brothers who sold him into slavery, but rather
than kill his dreams, it led ultimately to the
fulfilment of his dream.
Your dreams have the power to keep
you alive; Nelson Mandela survived 27 years
in prison because he had a dream. Dreamers don’t die, Joseph’s brothers originally
planned to kill him
but the power of his
dream made it impossible for that to happen and eventually
they decided to sell
him off thinking the
dream would die little
did they realize they
were giving life to the
dream they wanted
to destroy. When
you have a dream the
things meant for your
destruction will turn for your lifting, your
failures will become the reason for your outstanding success.
However, no dream is fulfilled without
desperation. Life will not let you fulfil your
dreams without a fight. There will always be
giants in your Canaan; you must be ready to
rise to the challenge. And if at first you don’t
get what you want go again and again until
you get it. Jacob wanted to marry Rachel and
so he served his uncle Laban 7 years and at
the end he was given Leah so he went another
7 years for the woman he really wanted, he
paid the price and his dream was fulfilled.
What is your dream? Are you willing to pay
the price to get it?
Jacob had
another dream, that
his wages would be
the animals that were
spotted and speckled and the same day
he voiced this dream
to his uncle Laban,
Laban removed from
the flock every animal
that was ring spotted
and speckled. This
simply says that life
will try to frustrate
you on the way to achieving your dreams.
Many people give up at this point but those
who press on eventually get what they want
because the truth is that if you don’t bow, the
opposition will, if you refuse to turn back in
defeat, life must hand to you what is yours.
Press on, do not turn back. Quitters never win
and a winner you most definitely are.
Your dreams have
the power to keep
you alive
