Discover Your Inner Bling much faith we have in God’s light, until we do the work needed to shine, the light will be, well, dead. So the purpose of my blog is to be a light in the blogosphere, and trust, I don’t do it alone. I have a wonderful team of blolleagues who write within their area of expertise and giftedness. Readers have access to blogs about marriage, fashion, singleness, work-life balance, leadership, sisterhood, forty-ness, books, movies and even haircare. Most of all, I strive to offer a space where women feel confident that my transparency is a testimony to what God does for me every day. He offers me a chance to grab hold to His light and let it shine in my heart. Sometimes, I miss it. Most times I don’t. Whatever the case, my experiences act as catalysts for encouraging women to reach for the light and hold on tight. My ultimate goal, therefore, is to pass the torch and keep women blinging all over the place. About the author: DiAnne Malone teaches African American Studies at the University of Memphis.
