FOR YOUR INSPIRATION
Tithing My Day in The Lord
by Chizoba Anyimukwu
H
ello HimPower Family! I’m so
excited to be sharing this precious
moment with you. What a bless-
ing that the Highest King by His
mercy found us worthy to see another beau-
tiful year. How important it is to savor every
day, cherish every moment and ensure that
every second counts in Him.
Speaking of every second, I challenge
you to start a new tag: Tithing my day in the
Lord. Since we are blessed with 24 hours
every day, ensure that at least 10 percent of
your day is spent living in consciousness of
who God is and what He requires of you.
YOU CAN DO THIS IN 10 WAYS:
1. Bless a stranger and meet a friend’s
need (Luke 14:12-14; Matt 25:42-46; Prov-
erbs 8:24b)
2. Bridle your tongue with self-control
(James 1:19; James 3:1-12)
3. Show enormous kindness and compas-
sion to everyone (Ephesians 4:32; Luke
10:30-37)
4. Be loving and selfless in your service to
others (John 13:34-35; 1 Peter 4:9)
5. When you are in the room, serve peace
(James 3:18; Romans 12:18)
6. Stand up for the truth (Psalm 1:1; Prov-
erbs 31:8-9; James 4:17; Matthew 5:10-12)
7. Practice patience till it becomes a gentle
habit (Ephesians 4:2; Proverbs 15:18)
8. Let the joy of the Lord be your strength
(James 1:2-3; Proverbs 10:28; Hebrews
12:2)
9. Be gracious and good to one another
(Romans 12:13-17; Isaiah 1:17; Galatians
6:9)
10. Be faithful with whatever the Lord has
put in your hands (Proverbs 28:20; Mat-
thew 25:21)
In doing these, you display the attri-
butes of a person in alignment with the
Holy Spirit (Galatians 5). How amazing
is that? What a wonderful gift we have in
making this choice. It is my prayer the Lord
will help you as you Tithe your day in Him.
Shalom HimPower Family!
