I lost my job three months ago and it’s been harder than I
expected to find something comparable. I’m beginning to think
I may have to settle for something less. One of my friends sug-
gested doing contract work. I’ve never worked as a contractor,
I’ve always had a full-time, permanent position and benefits. I understand
contract positions do not have benefits. Can you think of any advantages to
taking a contract position?
