Why Christ is in
HimPower Magazine

imPower Magazine is back—and
better than ever. Before we share
what has changed, it’s important
for you to know what hasn’t—that
is, who and what HimPower Magazine is
about and why.
First, HimPower Magazine is a commu-
nications tool inspired by God for the
benefit of His people and for His Glory.
Information at HimPower Magazine or any
venue where there is an opportunity for
HimPower Magazine to be a blessing to
others you can be assured God is leading
the effort. Even the logo is an inspired
design. The unique creation of HimPower®
--the words Him and Power joined together
and anchored by the Cross, was not our
idea—it was His directive. God is so
thoughtful and thorough every detail asso-
ciated with HimPower® has purpose. This
God-inspired name and logo are constant
reminders of God and who He is and that
our power comes from and through Christ
because of His death, burial and resurrec-
tion. Philippians 4:13
Secondly, HimPower Magazine has as
its foundation the infallible word of God
and is supported by Hosea 4:6, 3 John 2 and
Jeremiah 29:11-13, which are at the core of
its mission. The totality of these scriptures
makes it clear how great God’s love is for
His people and the lengths to which He
will go to bless those who love and serve
Him. Yet, He is uncompromising and does
not waiver from the essence of who He is
because He is sovereign.
In Hosea 4:6, God speaks of His
displeasure with how those in charge had
turned their backs on Him causing the
people to perish because they were not
being taught of Him and His ways. God
does not want His people to be ignorant,
falling for every deception by the enemy to
keep them in bondage to beliefs and prac-
tices that are counterintuitive and coun-
terproductive. God wants His people to
follow Him, come out of darkness and live
in abundance. The scripture 3 John 2 states
it is God’s will that His people should live
prosperously and be in good health--even as
their souls prosper. And since God is omni-
scient and omnipotent, He not only knows
what each person needs but also what it will
take for them to receive the overflow He has
waiting for them.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 tells us our Heav-
enly Father took the extraordinary step
of devising a plan for each person that is
