The SafeSet™designation indicates that an adhesive anchor is approved for installation using one of our noncleaning or self-cleaning systems. Our non-cleaning installation solution includes the HIT-Z anchor rods, which allow dust to be left in the anchor hole without impacting holding values. Self-cleaning installation is as simple as it sounds: The installer uses a Hilti hollow drill bit to drill the anchor hole. The dust is sucked out of the hole during the drilling process with a VC- 150 series or VC-300 series vacuum, eliminating the need for additional cleaning.
