The SafeSet™ designation indicates that an adhesive
anchor is approved for installation using one of our
non-cleaning or self-cleaning systems. Our non-
cleaning installation solution includes the HIT-Z
anchor rods, which allow dust to be left in the anchor
hole without impacting holding values. Self-cleaning
installation is as simple as it sounds: The installer
uses a Hilti hollow drill bit to drill the anchor hole.
The dust is sucked out of the hole during the drilling
process with a Hilti vacuum cleaner, eliminating the
need for additional cleaning.

PORTFOLIO
Hilti vacuums feature a filter efficiency of 99% or greater
and a filter-cleaning mechanism. Our portfolio gives
customers options regarding CFM, on-board electrical
socket, tank size and Hilti AirBoost automatic filter
cleaning technology. Hilti vacuums are covered for wear
& tear under the 20-2-1 warranty.

process is cleaning the hole before
injecting adhesive. Now you can
install adhesive anchors more
quickly and reliably using SafeSet™
Technology, which includes Hilti
hollow drill bits, vacuum cleaners,
HIT-HY 200 and the HIT-Z anchor
rod. It is available in two versions with
the same load performance:
HIT-HY 200-R for “regular” working
times and HIT-HY 200-A for
“accelerated” working times. RE 500 V3 is suitable for use in
cracked and uncracked concrete
with all anchoring elements. It
has approval for use in seismic
applications, delivering reliably high
performance in diamond-cored holes
using the new roughening tool. The
long working time allows you even
greater flexibility during installation.
