April is one of my favourite times of year across the Hills the weather softens, the community comes alive, and there’ s a real sense of connection in the air.
This issue is a beautiful reflection of exactly that.
From celebrating inspiring locals like Katherine Kirk, recognised for her tireless contribution to our community, to stories of innovation and impact like Professor Olivia Mirza’ s work shaping future generations we are constantly reminded that the Hills is rich in heart, talent and generosity.
As we head towards ANZAC Day, we also pause to reflect. The story of the Castle Hill RSL Sub-Branch’ s efforts to improve the ANZAC War Memorial is a powerful reminder of
HDI the importance of honouring those who have served, while ensuring future generations understand the significance of that sacrifice.
There’ s also plenty happening across the region- from community events and local initiatives to exciting milestones like Probus celebrating 50 years of connection in Australia. These are the stories that matter. The ones that bring people together.
