MONTHLY HOROSCOPES

Aries

To be or not to be, that is the question for you, Aries. Of course, whatever will be will be, but where do you end and where does the world start? The answers are simultaneously simple and complex. Make some strange new friends around the midmonth solar eclipse, as they’ ll pose more impossible questions and help awaken the latent awareness within. You are changing in ways you can barely recognise right now. Mercury retrograde at the end of the month helps you unravel who you thought you were – an essential preliminary step for being stitched back together.

Taurus

Work is all kinds of weird this month. You can blame the solar eclipse at the top of your chart; but deep down you know you’ ve been the square peg in an employershaped hole for quite a while. Discomfort is important information which shows you where changes are needed and helps you move from the problem onto conjuring potential solutions( albeit highly idealised ones at this stage). Let yourself dream and imagine, particularly in the latter half of the month. Talk to your friends about your lofty goals, not to garner support, but to hear yourself speak that world into being.

Gemini

You are futureoriented at the best of times and detect the smell of thermal adhesive and rare earths with your nasal hairs. Something exciting is afoot and you are itching to get amongst it. Unfortunately, it’ s out of your quantum reach until at least midmonth – that’ s your earliest opportunity to leap out of your seat, shoot your arm in the air, and scream“ pick me!” While it’ s unlikely to deliver a spot on the next Mars mission, the solar eclipse does promise exciting adventures and far-out ideas.

Cancer

As you’ re so sensitive to the Moon, eclipse season is always notable, but there is so much going on in February that the midmonth solar eclipse is not much more than a suspicious charge
on your credit card. The major headline is a contradictory planetary pairing meeting up at the top of your chart. Cue: career crisis. It’ s much more likely to be an internal search for meaningful purpose, than an unwelcome demotion. What do you want to be when you grow up? Have you grown up yet? Would little you be pleased with how you spend your days?

Leo

Roar your leonine heart out early in the month as the Moon shines its fullest in your sign. After that, you’ ll be competing for the spotlight as planetary drama is shared around the zodiac. Your closest partnerships are certainly a focal point, but not for the reasons you initially think. Hold off on major relationship moves until after the midmonth solar eclipse, which also coincides with an urge for independent exploration. Someone else might know, but you must find out for yourself. Firsthand. With a side of risk. Mercury retrograde suggests you are willing to go into debt to fund it.

Virgo

You are all kinds of worried under the Full Moon, but those symptoms are most likely psychosomatic. Breathe; apply logic; take sensible action. The source of your unease will become more apparent as the month progresses, with the solar eclipse offering a whiplashinducing plot twist. Quietly, but significantly, there’ s a profound shift occurring in relation to your debts- remembering that money and honour are the same cosmic currency. Can you be both fluid and firm here? Oh, Mercury retrograde in your relationship sector will confuse and confuddle as February comes to a close.

Libra

You dig deep into your bag of smooth social tricks and pull out a colour wheel, a pair of roller-skates and some dominoes. Use whatever is at hand to celebrate friendship as February begins. The plot thickens- and burgeoning romances may unexpectedly collapse- midmonth due to an erratic solar eclipse in your pleasure sector and a rare( but dubious) alignment in your partnership sector. There’ s a gap between reality and fantasy, and you and your boo / s have become squatters. Mercury retrograde ensures plenty of awkward conversations and circular logic over who is responsible for the chores.

Scorpio

After some public fanfare under the Full Moon in early February, the focus soon shifts to domestic life. Home and family are a hive of activity, possibly because a key appliance has given up the ghost and your routines are nothing more than a nostalgic memory. Solutions emerge in strange circumstances around the solar eclipse. You seem to unlock a whole new way of arranging your essential responsibilities. It might start with a robot vacuum but there’ s a lot more to come as you seek to free yourself from onerous tasks by adopting militaristic discipline.

Sagittarius

It’ s the time of year that you feel your most restless. Guided by the Full Moon, your dart lands on your next travel destination, but you need excitement closer to home. The solar eclipse delivers the randomness you seek, perhaps teaching you to be more specific with your order. Unexpected results make for excellent creative fodder- a fortuitous development as you embark on a chapter of getting serious about fun. The art of pleasure becomes a burning commitment. Your household is on their best behaviour but Mercury retrograde will unleash chaos in the family group chat.

Capricorn

February’ s lunations spotlight one of your favourite things: money! Secrets are revealed early in the month, encouraging you to dig deeper into transactional details, leading to a hard reset on the solar eclipse. Also in that mid-month period, you plant a foundational dream-seed deep within your heart and commit to singing it into being until it rises magically like a castle in a pop-up fairytale book. It will appear spontaneous, dazzle all who behold it, and only you will know the effort invested.

Aquarius

Break from domestic routine and step out with your beloved under the romantic light of the Full Moon. Then look lively, Aquarius. Midmonth brings the first solar

eclipse in your sign for a long time, enticing you to do a detailed audit on your life and your identity. Who you think you are is much more fluid than you currently realise and this is the month where you awaken to the vast array of new possibilities. You’ ll rush in, as excited as a kid in a lolly shop, but quick answers to existential questions are rarely sustainable.

Pisces

Your nerves jangle as you try to interact with people and are met with unexpected responses early in the month. It’ s most likely not about you- and it’ s best to keep it that way with clear boundaries. Your finances enter a new era. You have dreams; you have aspirations; you also have constraints about what you will and won’ t do for a crust. Those edges are made for testing though, so think creatively about how you can have your cake and eat it too. February closes with Mercury retrograde in your sign, which places you as chief button presser on the confusion.
