Back-to-school vouchers scrapped The Minns Labor Government ’ s decision to scrap the Back-to-School voucher program in NSW has added to the financial pressures already faced by families struggling with the high cost of living . Under the former Liberal and Nationals Government , the 3 x $ 50 Back-to-School vouchers provided $ 150 of much-needed assistance for families purchasing essential school supplies like uniforms , stationery and books .
With the program ’ s removal , families , particularly those with multiple schoolaged children , now face significantly higher out-of-pocket costs at a time when there are rising prices for essentials like groceries , fuel and housing putting significant strain on household budgets – with no end in sight .
No family in NSW should have to choose between paying for educational needs or other necessities .
While the Minns Labor Government can afford to pay
their union mates , NSW Deputy Premier Prue Car described financial support for working families as a ‘ cash splash ’.
Are you better off than you were two years ago ? Miss use of taxpayer money exposed The Labor Party spent $ 40 million of taxpayers money on getting their own candidates elected to parliament at the last election . This abhorrent miss use of taxpayers money for purely political purposes has been exposed and the details of this dodgy scheme which was endorsed by the Leader of the Labor Party prior to the last election , who is now the Premier of NSW stand condemned for their actions . Only Labor Party candidates were able to promise up to $ 400,000 for projects in electorates they were contesting . No other candidates from other party ’ s had
this opportunity .
The Labor Party , through this devious scheme have bought their way into government with some very serious conflicts of interest by some Labor candidates . Thankfully this has been brought to the attention of the public through the good work of this Upper House Committee which I participated in as a witness at the committee ’ s request recently . The full screening of the enquiry will soon be available and every voter in this state should spend a few minutes watching it .

A plan to bring back the dream of home ownership

with Julian Leeser MP
For many families in Berowra , home ownership feels further out of reach than ever before . Rising house prices , increasing rents , and limited housing supply have made it difficult for firsthome buyers and young families to stay in the area .
Parents worry as their children move away because they simply can ’ t afford to buy locally . I want Australians to own their own home . The Liberal Party has a plan to make homeownership achievable again .
We will introduce a Super Home Buyer Scheme , allowing individuals to access up to $ 50,000 of their superannuation for a deposit , giving young people a muchneeded boost towards purchasing their first home .
We will also pause foreign investors and temporary residents purchasing existing homes , which is currently crowding Australians out .
Our migration levels are also exceeding the rate at which new homes are being built .
That is why we will reduce the migration intake by 25 per cent over the next two years – to allow housing supply to finally catch up with demand .
By implementing policies that reduce demand and provide targeted financial

support , we can help families in Berowra secure a place to call their own . I want to ensure home ownership remains a reality for future generations in our community .
