Get ready to celebrate minds that think outside the box ! From March 18th to 21st , the Stronger Together Foundation is hosting its first ever Neurodiversity Week , a vibrant celebration of unique strengths and talents within the neurodivergent community .
Ellen Witzlsperger from Stronger Together was excited to share all about their exciting campaign and how everyone can get involved .
“ Neurodiversity is a term that was coined to describe brains which work in different ways from typical brains . Whether someone has autism , ADHD , dyslexia , dyscalculia , or dyspraxia , their unique way of thinking can lead to creativity , innovation , and problem-solving . Society is often built for those whose brains are neurotypical , but some of the world ’ s greatest inventors and entrepreneurs succeeded because they thought differently .”
To mark Neurodiversity Week , Stronger Together is releasing a special neurodivergent pin alongside cozy hoodies . The pin isn ’ t just for the celebration — it ’ s a year-round symbol of support , inclusion , and pride . Pins and hoodies will be available through their website , complete with a QR code for easy purchasing . Ellen

encourages everyone to wear their pins proudly beyond the event , sparking conversations about neurodiversity wherever they go .
In a fun collaboration with Emotional Support Buddy , the team developed an adorable character called the “ Neurodiverg-ant ” ( get it ?) to champion the campaign . With a big heart and a mission to celebrate different minds , this cute character reminds us that everyone ’ s differences are worth celebrating .
Ellen shared that conversations around neurodiversity often focus on the limitations seen with specific diagnoses , but she wants to turn that around and focus on the strengths that can come with being neurodivergent .
“ Within every diagnosis lies a whole gamut of strengths ,” she said .
“ If we focused on these strengths , we ’ d unlock incredible opportunities for neurodivergent people .”
This is the first time Stronger Together has hosted a broad Neurodiversity Week , expanding their past World Autism Day events and Stronger Together Conferences , allowing them to be more inclusive .
Ellen pointed out a very important point to me .
“ Awareness is just the first step . True change happens when we

shift our behaviours , values , and beliefs to focus on strengths and inclusion .”
The week doesn ’ t end with pins and hoodies ! On March 26th , they are hosting a workshop run by Neurowild which will offer valuable insights into neuro-affirming practices for parents , educators , and professionals . It ’ s a great chance to learn how to support and celebrate neurodivergent people in everyday settings .
For those wanting to support local creators , Emotional Support Buddy will also be at the Colourful Minds Market at Castle Hill RSL on March 29th .
Celebrate different minds , support inclusion , and help spark conversations about the strengths of neurodivergent people . Order your pin and hoodie through the Stronger Together Foundation ’ s website and join the movement .
