Love to sing and want to show off your beautiful harmonies ? Then the women ’ s Circular Keys Vocal Chorus wants you now .
A six-week learn to sing A Capella course is being offered by this award-winning group starting on Wednesday , 8 June , from 7.30-10pm .
“ The purpose of this course is to recruit new members for our chorus ,” public relations officer Candace Deller said .
“ We welcome women of all ages who love to sing , are passionate to learn and want to discover the joy of harmonising .”
The six-week course enables you to learn various vocal techniques from a professional director and includes all course materials . It ’ s also held in a fun , friendly and supportive environment .
This women ’ s barbershop harmony ensemble has members hailing from the north-west as well as the Central Coast . They totally embrace the Sweet Adelines ’ motto of ‘ real women , real harmony , real fun ’. They also practise choreographed moves to assist in telling the story of the song .
“ Circular Keys Chorus is a non-profit four-part harmony chorus of 42 women that belong to Sweet Adelines Australia / International based in Baulkham Hills ,” Ms Deller said .
“ We are committed to learning and rehearsing every week under the direction of our wonderful Master Director Vicki Dwyer .”

Circular Keys Chorus formed in 1995 and has performed at local events and competed nationally and internationally at Sweet Adelines Conventions .
The accomplished Vicki Dwyer joined Circular Keys Chorus in September 1996 . In 1999 she moved with her family to San Francisco and joined Bay Area Showcase Chorus ( BASC ) in SAI Region 12 where she was rapidly promoted to an Assistant Director , Lead Section Leader and a member of the BASC Music Staff .
On her return to Australia in January 2002 , Vicki took up the directorship of
Circular Keys and applied her energy , learning and infectious enthusiasm to the musical development of the chorus .
Circular Keys Chorus has achieved several first and second places in regional small and mid-size chorus competitions under Vicki ’ s direction .
Their most recent award was third place in the 2018 Sweet Adelines Harmony Classic division held in St Louis , Missouri .
Visitors are always welcome to rehearsals that are held at St Joseph ’ s Centre , 33 Barina Downs Road , Baulkham Hills , on Wednesday evenings from 7.30-
10pm , followed by supper .
Anyone interested in joining is encouraged to come earlier so a member of the music team can assess your voice and recommend the voice part most suitable for you .
