Do you know about these crimes ?

The Hills police area command recorded seven domestic violence offences , with two assault charges made at the weekend . If you know anything about any of these incidents below , please contact them .
• Hampshire Ave , West Pennant Hills – Victim punched by a person known to them ;
• Old Northern Rd , Castle Hill – Driver of rideshare vehicle punched by a passenger ;
• Showground Rd , Castle Hill – Several victims attacked by three people . All three people received criminal infringement notices .
A house was egged causing malicious damage in Exbury Road , Kellyville , while two people were found trespassing in a construction site at Fishburn Crescent , Castle Hill . One was given a youth caution while the other was issued a criminal infringement notice .
Padlocks were cut and various items stolen from vehicle toolboxes at these addresses :
• Pridham Avenue and Hereford Street , Box Hill
• Holman Street , North Kellyville .
While vehicles parked at Breshinan Ave , North Kellyville , and Sheath Street , Kellyville , were also targeted but no items were stolen .

SES storm call outs

A number of roads were temporarily cut off by fallen trees following the recent storms throughout the Hills Shire . Multiple calls for assistance have been taken by the unit within the past fortnight .
Powerlines down and access hampered , SES reminds drivers to take extra care in the prolonged wet weather cycle we are experiencing .
Derriwong Road , Dural ; Pitt Town Road , Kenthurst ; Carters Road , Dural and McClymonts Road , Maraylya , were all affected , leaving homes without power for some time .

Recycle your old electricals for free

Council ’ s free e-waste drop off service to recycle your old or unwanted electronic items is being held on Saturday , 19 February , 9am to 3.30pm
General household electronic items are accepted . White goods are NOT accepted .
Items you can drop off include TVs , computers and accessories , printers , mobile phones , vacuum cleaners , microwaves , kettles , VCRs , radios and cameras .
