They say the British do comedy best , and for many theatre lovers , Richard Everett is a king among men .
Castle Hill Players are excited to get their 2022 season underway with Everett ’ s highly acclaimed , record-breaking play , Entertaining Angels , at The Pavilion Theatre from 21 January 2022 .
As a clergy wife , Grace has spent a lifetime on her best behaviour . By her own count , she ’ s poured two hundred thousand cups of tea , made four thousand six hundred quiches and baked two tonnes of light crust pastry .
Now , following the death of her husband , life takes on new challenges , presents revelations to be faced and forgiveness to be given .
Amidst the grief of widowhood , Grace ’ s eccentric missionary sister , Ruth , returns from Africa with a shocking admission , daughter Jo , while comforting her mother , is also dealing with her own crisis , and the new vicar arrives to take over the parish .
Grace is forced to confront the memory of her husband , the truth of their marriage and the strength of her faith , whilst the new vicar reveals some very unclergy-like credentials !
A wonderful cast of talented actors including Julie Mathers , Michelle Masefield , Amy Austin , Linda Young and David Schad bring this thought-provoking comedy to the Pavilion to delight and entertain our audiences .

Live music coming to Bella Vista Farm this year

The large and looming MONOLITH festival will erupt in an explosion of prog , rock and metal sounds at Bella Vista Farm on March 12th . For the first time in seventeen years , Aussie Rock legends Karnivool and COG will tour together on the same line-up . They ’ ll be joined by Ocean Grove , Plini , sleepmakeswaves , Reliqa and Yomi Ship !
Karnivool have gained high praise from international press titans such as Rolling Stone , Billboard Magazine , Kerrang ! and Rocksound . “ A rare sight to see them on a festival line-up , it ’ s even more special when it has them reuniting for the first time in 17 years with long time musical brothers , COG !”
Rounding out the seven-band line-up is the enigmatic / eccentric Ocean Grove , the guitar mastery and groove-laden riffs of Plini , the post-rock power and majesty of sleepmakeswaves , the outright force of nature that is Reliqa , and the upand-coming instrumentalists Yomi Ship opening up proceedings . This will be a festival not to be missed .
On April 10th we see the Red-Hot Summer Tour hit Bella Vista Farm , they have some unfinished business , so in 2022 they are stretching their 10th anniversary celebrations out a little further and getting the huge line-up back together for a trip around Australia .
When we say huge , we really mean HUGE .
Leading the way are ARIA Hall of Fame inductees Hunters & Collectors .
They ’ ll be joined by a smorgasbord of Australia ’ s finest including James Reyne , The Living End , The Angels , Baby Animals , Killing Heidi and Boom Crash Opera .
The Red-Hot Summer tour was launched in 2011 with a three-band lineup touring across six shows throughout Victoria , New South Wales , and South Australia . Fast forward a decade , and Red-Hot Summer has become a staple on the Australian music calendar , taking in stages in major cities and regional centres and ensuring the music-loving public has access to top-quality festivals no matter where they live .
Originally reforming for the tenth anniversary of Red-Hot Summer in 2020 , live performances from Hunters & Collectors are a rare experience these days . The legendary band disbanded over two decades ago and – before this reunion – had only performed a handful of times . With over one million albums sold and hit singles including ‘ Throw Your Arms Around Me ’, ‘ When the River Runs Dry ’, and ‘ Holy Grail ’, the outdoor festival environment was made for Hunters & Collectors .
And it doesn ’ t finish there with Australian rock royalty continuing throughout the line-up .
From his time fronting the legendary Australian Crawl through to his successful solo career , James Reyne ’ s set is sure to be packed full of singalong classics . So too is The Living End ’ s . With two decades spent putting on blistering live performances ,

Killing Heidi

and their eighth album almost ready to drop , fans better be ready to dance .
The Angels will bring four-decades of Australian anthems to the Red-Hot Summer stage , alongside recently reformed ’ 90s rockers The Baby Animals .
Killing Heidi celebrated a pretty big anniversary back in 2020 , two decades since the release of their rock-pop debut

Karnivool

James Reyne

Reflector . As did Boom Crash Opera , who ticked off 30 years since their ARIA Top 10 record These Crazy Times arrived .
More than ten years of Red-Hot Summer and it just keeps getting better .
Red Hot Summer 2022 will begin in Sydney before heading around Australia from February to May . Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster . com . au .
