Hills Grammar welcomes new principal

Hills Grammar , celebrating 40 years as the leading independent coeducational school in the Hills District , is delighted to appoint its first female principal , Mrs Karen Yager .

The school ’ s unique culture and focus on nurturing their Hills Originals attracted me to the position .” joins the school with more than 26 years ’ experience in education , including , most recently , as deputy headmaster K-12 , at Knox Grammar . A progressive and creative leader , Mrs Yager said ,

“ I really enjoy working with students to prepare them for life beyond the school gates . As educators , it is one of our great joys to nurture the passion , knowledge , and skills of young people , to give them the confidence to achieve their unique potential .
“ I am looking forward to working in a co-educational environment where I am committed to empowering our young men and women to take their place in the world with courage , confidence and conviction , and the ability and will to positively influence their own lives and the world around them .
