Record funding for Castle Hill schools

The NSW Government will allocate a record $ 9,969,924 to 17 public schools across Castle Hill in 2022 through the Resource Allocation Model ( RAM ), a needs based funding model that ensures record funding is targeted at supporting the individual needs of students and will drive improved student learning outcomes . Funding boost for local sports Castle Hill sporting organisations can now apply for grants up to $ 20,000 to help purchase equipment , improve facilities and remove barriers to participation , under the NSW Government ’ s $ 4.6 million Local Sport Grants Program . New Dine & Discover vouchers
Castle Hill residents will have more reasons to celebrate catching up with friends and family this summer with two additional Dine & Discover vouchers up for grabs for NSW residents . The additional vouchers will help businesses recover from months of restrictions and encourage people to enjoy what they love most . Training courses to help win government work
Small businesses across NSW now have access to free online training and an informative guide to help them become “ tender ready ” and win NSW Government contracts , thanks to a new tender support program .
The training courses , Selling to the NSW Government , comprises four modules that help small businesses prepare for and navigate the major stages of the tendering and contract processes . It is complemented by the new Selling to the NSW Government : A Guide for Small Business , which includes templates for key tendering documents . The training modules and the guide can be accessed via the NSW Small Business Commission website .
Vaccination certificate on Service NSW app
Residents across Castle Hill are able to integrate the COVID-19 digital vaccination certificate into their Service NSW app . Now when someone visits a venue , they ’ ll be able to show their green check-in tick and vaccination status simultaneously , saving staff and customers time . COVID-19 DIGITAL CERTIFICATE The COVID-19 digital vaccination certificate can now be integrated into the Service NSW app .
Since the vaccine data sits in the Federal Australian Immunisation Register ,
to integrate the COVID-19 digital certificate into the Service NSW app , you will need to :
• Ensure your Federal MyGov account is linked to Medicare
• Download the Express Plus Medicare app and sign in with your MyGov account details
• Select ‘ Proof of vaccinations ’ and then ‘ View history ’
• Select ‘ Share with check in app ’ and then ‘ Service NSW ’

TUTORING PROGRAM EXTENDED AS STUDENTS RETURN TO SCHOOL
The NSW Government has committed an additional $ 383 million to extend the COVID Intensive Learning Support Program into next year to assist students catch up on any learning loss experienced due to COVID-19 lockdowns and learning from home .
The Department of Education will work with schools and key stakeholder groups during Term 4 to refine the program to ensure the greatest benefit is delivered for students who need it most . More information will be provided by the Department to schools during Term 4 .
LOCAL SPORT GRANT PROGRAM
Sporting organisations can apply for grants to help remove barriers to participation , purchase equipment and improve facilities , under the NSW Government ’ s Local Sport Grants Program .
Successful clubs can receive funding of up to $ 20,000 , with up to $ 50,000 available for each electorate across the state .
Applications are open and close at 1pm Friday , 19 November 2021 .
