Saffron are performing at St Albans Village Market on Sunday 9 June
Saffron ’ s music is acoustic , easy , accessible , with two distinctive voices drawn from blues , folk and classic acoustic ; all original with songs about tales from Andrew and Mansour ’ s lives .
Kiwi singer songwriter Andrew Browne and Persian guitarist Mansour Dehghanian from Shiraz in Iran form Saffron . These two musicians are from different generations and cultures and have found their original songs work beautifully together . Along with your favourite regular local producers there will also be an ever changing lineup of visiting stallholders selling high quality produce and crafts . Please bring some cash as some stallholders don ’ t use Eftpos .
The nearest ATM is at Wisemans Ferry grocery store where you hop on the Webbs Creek Car Ferry . A gold coin donation per adult entry is requested at the gate , this time monies raised are going to the Lower Macdonald Rural Fire Brigade .
