I first started work experience at a
garage in Karen and realised from
the beginning that I had made a
big mistake. I quickly changed jobs
and now I am happy working with
experienced chefs at Purdy Arms.
I mostly serve as a waiter.

I thought I loved fixing cars until
I started my work experience at
Silverstone and I gave up! All
I did was to sit and watch real
professionals at work. I didn’t learn
much so I guess it is cooking for me
from now on…

Callum Hays
I worked at Sport Motor Cycles in Hardy and as a
sports lover, this was the best decision ever. I learnt
how to put a KTM 855X engine back together once
taken apart. Throughout my work experience I was
always surrounded by bikes- I fell in love with the
spectacular motor cross bikes out of all the variety
available in the garage. I am now pretty good at
servicing a bike by cleaning the air filter.
