Smart Bulb helps you to sleep and wake on schedule
Melatonin is the hormone in charge of making you feel sleepy, and your levels go
up and down on a 24-hour cycle each day. When you completely wake up, your
melatonin levels are low. But as the day gets longer and the sun starts to go down,
the hormone production will move up again.
The smart bulb was called Rhythm Down light: You program your desired sleep
schedule in the app, which syncs up with the specially designed digital LED light
bulb. When it’s time to wake up, the bulb will emit more light in the blue
spectrum, which stops the melatonin production, in that way you will feel awake.
But when it’s time to sleep, the blue light is off, allowing melatonin levels to turn
on and you to fall asleep.
New Smartphone Battery Recharges in 30 Seconds Flat
Now, it looks like recharging our phones could finally be faster and even in less than a
minute.
An Israeli company called StoreDot was the creator of a new smartphone battery that
fully recharges in just 30 seconds. The battery was managing a speedy charge by utilizing
quantum dot technology. Quantum dots were tiny bio-organic Nano crystals made of
semiconducting materials. The battery was just a prototype at this point, and it was big
and clunky — about the size of a laptop charger.
They were trying if it worked and now they know it does!
