FESTIVAL IS BACK
The Green Festival is going to bring the London city together
in order to celebrate the environmental event, which is going
to be held on Saturday 25th September, with fringe activities
running until Sunday 1st October. An unmissable highlight of
the city’s events calendar the Green Festival offers a plethora of
fun-filled activities.

id you know that London has been running
environmental events for a few years now? Now in
its 5th year the Green Festival is an annual event
that launches the captial city’s festival season in
style.
The event is a fantastic celebration of all
things ‘green’ and is a great day out for the
whole family. Bringing together a multitude
of crafts, community groups, charities and
businesses, there will be a great variety of
events and activities running throughout the
Festival launch.
The launch day on Saturday 25th September
is going to include exciting environmental-themed art works by local artists, who
have been specifically commissioned to highlight sustainability issues in innovative and
engaging ways at the festival. In addition to
this there will be music, performance art, and
lots fun and games.
The locals seem very excited about the Green
Festival that is taking place this year. The
organizer of the event states that the aim is to
create a fantastic day out for the visitors and
come away thinking a bit differently about
their part to play in the improving the capital
city’s environmental credentials.
Furthermore, it is crucial to have community’s support in order to improve the environmental issues and to have a greener city!
