Synergy, Build617 Open Free Founders Space

Boston, MA – Synergy, a real estate investor, operator and manager, and Build617, a community platform for the city’ s founders, celebrated the official opening of the Build617 Founders Space with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in downtown Boston on Sept. 24. The event brought together Boston city officials, members of the Synergy team and founders from across the local startup and AI ecosystem to mark the launch of a dedicated, free workspace for early-stage companies building in the city.
The Founders Space is the centerpiece of a partnership between Synergy and Build617 that provides no-cost workspace to AI-native startups in the heart of downtown Boston. The initiative comes as the city experiences a surge in startup and AI activity, with organizations like the Massachusetts AI Coalition, which has dubbed downtown the AI Hub, and events including Boston AI Week and the inaugural Boston Tech Week converging in the city this year.
“ Boston’ s universities have always produced world-class founders. The challenge has never been talent, it’ s been keeping that talent here,” said David Greaney, founder and CEO of Synergy.“ Build617 HQ is our answer to that

question. I started out as a founder and builder of companies and Boston helped me get to where I am today; this is our way of giving back to the city. Real estate happens to be the tool we have to do it. Synergy is a member of this business community, and we’ re betting on the founders building here right now.”
Representatives of Synergy say the partnership reflects the company’ s role in supporting Boston’ s economy and business community on multiple fronts, from commercial real estate and office-toresidential conversions to restaurants and startups. Synergy owns and operates more than 30 commercial assets across Greater Boston totaling nearly 7 million sf.
The Build617 Founders Space is already home to more than 20 companies building real products across AI, healthcare, fintech and marketing. Build617’ s partners include Stifel Venture Banking, CLA and Cooley.
The ribbon cutting also points to a broader thesis behind the partnership: that AI-native startups, VCs and AI companies are increasingly concentrating in and around downtown Boston, rather than dispersing to the suburbs or relocating to other markets. Synergy and Build617

Infinityy Brings AI Platform to Maplewood Senior Living

Boston, MA – Infinityy, an AI decisionmaking platform for places and spaces, recently announced a portfolio-wide partnership with Maplewood Senior Living and its luxury senior living brand, Inspīr. The partnership will bring Infinityy’ s AI-powered platform to every Maplewood and Inspīr community, beginning with Inspīr Embassy Row in Washington, D. C., and Inspīr Carnegie Hill on Manhattan’ s Upper East Side.
Following the Washington, D. C., and New York debuts, the platform will scale across Maplewood’ s full portfolio of communities in the Northeast and Ohio, including its four Massachusetts communities: Maplewood at Weston, Maplewood at Brewster, Maplewood at Mayflower Place in West Yarmouth, and Maplewood at Mill Hill.
Through its Inspīr brand, Maplewood has brought a hospitality-driven approach to luxury senior living. Inspīr Carnegie Hill is a 23-story residence on Manhattan’ s Upper East Side with more than 50,000sf of amenity space, including two fine dining venues, a heated saltwater pool and an open-air SkyPark. Inspīr Embassy Row brings that same approach to Washington, D. C., combining luxury residential living, hospitality and personalized care.

For Infinityy, the partnership marks a strategic expansion into senior living, a category where the decision extends far beyond the residence itself. Prospective residents and their families want to understand everything from care and amenities to nearby healthcare, walkability, dining, cultural access and the surrounding neighborhood. The decision also often involves several family members researching and asking questions from different locations. Infinityy brings those people, questions and information together in one experience, helping families move from initial interest toward a confident decision while giving sales teams greater insight into what matters along the way.
“ Families come to us during one of the most important decisions of their lives, and that experience begins long before they walk through our doors,” said Jenna Anderson, vice president of sales and marketing at Maplewood Senior Living.“ Infinityy gives families the flexibility to explore together, get answers when they need them and connect directly with our team when they’ re ready. see the Founders Space as a concrete, physical bet on that momentum, and on the idea that giving founders a place to build, for free, is one of the clearest ways a local business can give back to the city that trained them.
“ Boston already has the founders, the talent, and the ambition to build the next generation of world-changing companies. What we need are more people willing to actually show up and build alongside them,” said Nathan Spielberg, founder of Build617 and cofounder of Tamarin AI.“ That is exactly what Synergy did. They did not just believe in what Build617 could become. They stepped up, opened their doors, and gave our founders an incredible place in the heart of Boston to build. This is what real ecosystem partnership looks like, and we are incredibly fired up about what we are building together.”
“ Boston is where bold ideas become real-world solutions, and we are honored that Build617 has chosen our city as a place where founders, investors, and innovators can develop and scale their ideas,” said Mayor Michelle Wu.“ We look forward to the growth and impact within this space and across our ecosystem of world-class research institutions, exceptional talent, and connected communities.”
engagement connects with the systems our sales teams already use, we can continue the conversation with greater context around what matters to each family.”
Prospective residents can explore independently or invite family members and Maplewood sales professionals into the same Infinityy experience to explore residences, common spaces and amenities together in real time.
Infinityy’ s AI assistant answers questions around the clock in more than 70 languages, while the entire platform can be translated into 13 languages. Families can also explore the surrounding neighborhood with neighborhood intelligence from Local Logic and Google Street View, from nearby healthcare to dining, parks, walking routes and cultural destinations. When a prospect wants to speak with someone directly, Infinityy can connect them with a Maplewood sales professional.
