There are different types of activities that can be done when you are studying . They include

Listening

Listening to audiobooks or crash course videos online is one of the ways that can help studying . Listening to your teachers when they are reviewing the topics that you have learned also counts as studying as you are remembering the information that you might ’ ve forgot .

Reading

Compared to the class activities or presentation that is done in class , reading a book about a certain topic helps you understand the topic in your own pace , without needing to wait for others or being left behind .

Writing

When students take notes on the information that they are given by the teachers , they think that they are done studying . However , not all note taking is considered as studying . Note taking has to be used to understand the learning objective . If you are taking notes just for the sake of taking notes and copying the exact words from a book or a website , it isn ’ t considered as studying .
A person that has studied and ended the activities related to it has received a new experience and may change their point of view or opinion on certain things after gaining information from the source . It can be said that every change that a person goes through is based on the mistakes that they did in the past and they learned how to amend those mistakes . That ’ s why , after we finish studying about something , we often open our mind to want to study about more things related to that area that we already understood

However , keep in mind that every
individual ’ s learning is different . There
( Cicinotes , 2017 ) are lots of different factors that can and will affect your studying , whether it be distraction or not . Don ’ t feel bad just because your friend gets the material earlier than you did , maybe you just need a different way of approaching the problem and solving it , because at the end of the day , your goal and your friend ’ s goal is different .
