In your opinion, is writing on pen and paper better or is typing
using a laptop better? Why?
In my personal opinion, again, I am an old school product. I am born in analog era.
You gaes :P are born in digital era. Using laptop, students might type faster than
handwrite, hence they will write word by words. In addition, having laptop open
during class, the popup snapchat, the youtube, the picture in your desktop….all of
this will create another distraction. Remember, that it is important to avoid and
eliminate distraction so that you focus on study. On the other hand, using
handwriting, you should write shorter, summarize your understanding, make
connection between one point to another. So you should digest the information
during note taking. That what will make handwrite note taking meaningful. But of
course, this benefit would not happen if the students write their note by hand but
still write word by word.
