HG Matters Issue 1 | Page 9

Pitter-Patter of Little Feet While most pregnant mothers are looking forward to the pitter-patter of little feet, mothers with Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) have very little to look forward to most of the time. Death, starvation, and dehydration are among the most likely for most Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) mothers and their babies. These very serious symptoms of HG are often misdiagnosed as morning sickness and/or totally misunderstood as hypochondria or many other types of mental illnesses. These gross injustices serve no one, least of all the victims of this physically debilitating and therefore psychologically damaging disease. Written By: Ayden Rae’s Daddy
