Remember you can only claim so many expenses without evidence. 5 Welfare Officer Check if you are eligible for Tax-Help – did you earn $50,000 or less and have a simple tax return? Speak to a USQ Welfare Officer if you are unsure. 3 Sarah Be prepared. Start organising the paperwork you will need for your appointment – Tax File Number, BSB and Account details, previous Notice of Assessment and any payment summaries you receive. Start thinking about how you will spend your tax refund. It might be a good time to sit down and revise your budget.
