“I want the viewer and fellow actor to see,

“I love the closeness we

organised by USQ students and although it was difficult,
his class rose to the challenge.
‘I want to become a recognisable actor who people
enjoy watching work, whether it be in live performance,
or on the other side of a screen. I want the viewer and
fellow actor to see, hear and feel the professionalism
and transformation evident when I truly become another
character. I want to work my way to the top.’
Keep an eye out for Myles who, along with other thirdyear creative arts students, will be performing ‘Much Ado
about Nothing’ at USQ’s Shakespeare Festival in October.
For students in their final year here at USQ, this festival
will be ‘the showcase we have worked towards since day
one of first year and the pinnacle performance in our time
here as actors’.
Myles’ top tips:
• Use quotes or mantras to
keep on track
• Ask yourself, ‘why am I
here?’ The answer to this
question should motivate
you to keep working
towards your goal.
• Be truly interested in what
you are studying, it’ll make
being a student easy!
